my naked wrist
Goodbye, old friend.
I wore this Coros Pace almost constantly for five years. It told me a lot about myself.
But
three weeks back I tripped and fell, skinned my knee, elbow and
shoulder. I stopped the bleeding and tended my wounds, but I didn't even
notice that my companion had been mortally wounded.
It was only after I saw condensation under the glass of the watch that I noticed the gouged edge and tiny cracks.
For a while it kept working reliably, even as parts of the screen went white.
But now it's blank, dead. Adios.
